Arrive at Piccadilly Circus tube station, exit through the ticket barriers, then walk all the way round to the "back" of the circular concourse.
Here, you will find the exit signed "Regent Street East Side / Subway 1" - go this way.
Go up the ramp, up the stairs to street level, then cross the road and walk
up Sherwood Street
(so the Regent Palace Hotel is on your left and the donut shop is on your right)
Continue past the Guys + Dolls theatre
Straight on past The Crown (left) and Caffe Nero (right)
You will then emerge on to the corner of Golden Square. Presuming the weather is OK, we'll be in the nice greeny bit in the middle! (If not, we'll probably be in the Midas Touch pub, which is immediately on Golden Square)
